I’m a man and I don’t cry in very many movies. That’s not to say I’ve never cried in a movie, but I think that the moving image is absolutely, you know, the motion picture is one of the things that can stimulate emotion the most.

Using that combination of words, pictures, and music to really kind of draw you through a story and tell a story is such a powerful thing that other mediums don’t give you. We use that to tell your business story, and to stimulate emotion around your brand and your business for people who visit your website or subscribe to your blog or your content.

And it’s an important thing to do, to get that edge over your competitors. If your competitors not using this really compelling kind of medium, then you can and you can get the edge.

That sounds a bit sales-y doesn’t it? I don’t mean it in a salesey way, I just mean it in a helpful way. What I mean is, if someone’s Googling your business, and they Google three of your competitors, if you’ve got a video and people are gonna watch that and learn a bit more about you, they can gain trust in just watching it. They can find out a bit more about you and what you do.

I don’t mean it, I don’t mean it in a sale-y way, use someone else if you found that sales-y. But use video, that’s important.
