Your Brand Story – Told Authentically
So you’re looking to get a video made for your corporate brand … but you definitely don’t want a 90’s style corporate video that used to be wheeled out on a VHS tape. We’ve got you.
Telling the story of your business and showing it in an exceptional light is one of our strong suits.
Our unique Q4 Production Method was designed to make this process as easy as we possibly can for you. It has four parts:
1- The Brief Brief
We’ll chat with you or someone from your marketing team over the phone and ask a handful of questions about what you’re looking to do and how you’re planning to use your finished video.
2- The ‘Collection’
Our Crew (usually two people) will pop out to your premises and capture what we need. This will usually include an informal chat with some of the key people in your organisation, as well as a collecting a bunch of ‘overlay’ or ‘B-Roll’, aka beautiful pictures of your organisation in action.
3- The ‘Distillation’
We take your footage back to our team of editors and they go to work, distilling the very best bits of what we collected into our ‘directors cut’ for you to watch and share and approve or tweak as you see fit.
4- The ‘Bottling’
This is where we take your notes and get it to the perfect condition so that you can share it with the world. We’ll encode and optimise it for whatever platform or purpose you need it to be ready for and we make sure you have everything you need to get it out into the world.
Bring Your Brand to Life
Your organisation is a unique and living thing.
Authentic video is a wonderful way for you to bring your brand to life. Have a look at some of the ways we’ve helped brands come to life. From accounting firms and government brands to exciting and ‘cool’ organisations; video is a terrific way to showcase the culture, the essence of who you really are.
A Production Approach Developed for Busy Executives
Our Q4 Production Method was developed for busy people who aren’t used to being in front of a camera. We avoid scripts and autocue, and prefer people on camera in an authentic and conversational way.
When your people come in, to be on camera, we understand that it’s an unusual environment, so our unique approach is made to make everyone relax. It’s more like a chat with an old friend … rather than someone reading a script in a hostage video.
Videos That Make Your Team Look Great
We take care of the all the ingredients that go into a sensational video, so that you don’t have to.
Lighting
We use big, soft, diffused light sources that flatter our subjects and make the shots look sensational.
Lens and Diffusion
We carefully select lenses and sometimes make use of cinema-grade diffusion filters to reduce natural blemishes.
Interview Style
Our uniquely relaxed, conversational interviews extract the best and most authentic messaging for your expert people.
Refreshingly Authentic Editing
Our unique method of conveying your key messages in a personal way that makes the audience feel like they’re getting to know your team.
Why Choose ANGRYchair?
Life is too short and you’re too busy to waste your time making bad videos.

When it comes to selecting a video production company, we think you should ask: Is the end product excellent? Is the process easy and hopefully fun? And, most importantly, is the process and the output exactly what your brand needs?
We love making content that is perfect for your brand, and above all else, we love making it FOR YOU! It’s all about you and your brand.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
What is corporate video production?
Corporate video production is really just the creation of videos for business purposes. It’s a really broad term that includes marketing, training, internal communication, client testimonials, event coverage, recruitment, and investor relations. These videos help convey messages, build brands, and engage audiences within the corporate world.
Often a ‘Corporate Video’ is considered an introductory video about an organisation that could be used on an ‘About Us’ page, or to introduce a brand or organisation at a presentation or meeting.
These videos often briefly touch on the core ideas of the business and speak to the big ideas the business is focussing on.
We believe it’s important for corporate videos to be authentic and human-focused to truly convey the culture and personality of the organisation. -
What are the best practices for corporate video?
There are three critical things to consider when planning to produce a corporate video; who will be watching it, what do you want them to finish the video understanding and how do you want them to feel.
If you begin with these ideas, and focus on the audience of the content, then you’ll be creating impactful content in an area that is often cluttered with jargon and generic messaging.
We encourage organisations to lead with great people who are passionate about the organisation and let them speak about their work, passion and the organisation in their own words. We encourage organisations to avoid over-scripting and simply use conversational interviews, driven by considered key-messaging to be the backbone of your corporate video content.
This approach allows your viewer to really ‘meet’ your people and organisation through a quick video and get a real sense of who you are and what you’re about. -
What are the three pillars of videography?
Pre-production, production and post production.
The key pillars of videography are the foundational stages that form the basis for the entire video production process:
- Pre-Production: This phase involves planning, budgeting, and decision-making. It establishes the blueprint for the video project.
- Production: During this phase, the creative plans from pre-production are executed. It’s where footage and audio are captured during the shoot.
- Post-Production: This phase focuses on crafting and polishing the raw materials from production into the final video. It involves editing, refinement, and adding finishing touches.
These pillars are essential because they guide the video production process from the initial concept to the finished product. Each phase is integral to the overall success of the project.
We have a unique approach to these phases which we call our ‘Q4 Production Method’ which has been designed to make the often complex production process even more straightforward for everyone involved.

What is a commercial video?
A commercial video is a short, attention-grabbing video promotion created by businesses or organisations to promote products, services, or brands. Its purpose is to convey a clear message and encourage specific actions from viewers, such as making a purchase or visiting a website.
In the past, these were in the form of 30-second television commercials, but today, commercial videos can take any form, from very short 5-second ‘pre-roll’ videos, to extensive videos that provide in-depth insights on the advertised product or service..
Commercial videos are usually visually appealing, brief, and target specific audiences for marketing and advertising purposes.
The most important aspect of a commercial video is that it is ‘on brand’ the organisation it is representing – something that can be really well encapsulated with the right video strategy!

How long does the post-production take?
We usually ask you to allow 3-4 weeks for us to edit the video content and get you our ‘directors cut’ to you. [We can do fast turnarounds if required, as they often are for events.] Then as soon as you let us know your thoughts on our edit, we’ll make the changes and get your final videos delivered and ready for you to share within a few days.
In ‘Event Mode’ we’re often delivering drafts, making changes and delivering the final product on the same day or within 48 hours of the event. -
How many rounds of edit changes in the video production packages?
Most of our clients love our ‘directors cut’ an only need very minor tweaks, so we include two rounds of edit changes in the video production packages. If you’d like additional changes, we’d love to help with that at our edit rate of $200+GST per hour.

What happens on the day of filming?
Our crew of two will arrive and meet you then have a quick look around to pick out the best space/spaces for filming. We’ll then set up the required lighting, sound equipment and cameras and be ready to roll! Each time we need to change setups in a location there may need to be some time to move lighting and sound equipment around a little.
-
How many videos can we produce in a full day of filming?
This depends on exactly what you will include in your videos, and what level of production value you require, but if you’re producing a social media video content series using our Q4 Production method, it is possible to produce as many as 10x very simple videos in a full day of filming.
-
What dates do you have available for filming?
You can book in a shoot from our filming availability schedule here, we can help out with other dates that are blocked out including weekends and public holidays if you give us a call or email to discuss.
